Information this website uses

The website does not have a visitor account, analytics, advertising trackers, cookies, or a server-side inquiry form. When you confirm that you are 18 or older, the site stores a simple confirmation in your browser’s session storage so the age prompt stays dismissed for that browser tab session. It does not ask for or store your birth date or identification.

Text inquiries

The inquiry form puts the name, occasion, and message you enter into a draft text in your device’s messaging app. The website does not receive or store that draft. Nothing is sent unless you choose to send the text. If you send it, your mobile carrier and the recipient at (315) 259-2276 receive the message. Your device, messaging provider, carrier, and recipient may retain sent or unsent messages under their own settings and policies.

Service providers

The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those fonts, Google receives standard request information such as your IP address, browser/device details, and request time under Google’s privacy policy. The contact links also use your device’s messaging app and carrier if you choose to send a text.

Hosting and technical logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process visitors’ IP addresses, traffic-routing data, device or system information, and other details about requests to deliver and protect the pages. Cloudflare’s privacy policy says retention depends on the purpose, type, sensitivity, and legal requirements for the information; it does not state a single fixed retention period for requests to a static Pages site. Velvet Hour does not run its own server or use an analytics dashboard to collect visitor activity. For Cloudflare’s practices, see Cloudflare’s privacy policy. If the site is moved to another provider or additional tracking is enabled, this notice must be updated.

Retention and your choices

The age confirmation normally remains in session storage until the browser tab session ends. Inquiry details remain only in the draft text on your device unless you send it; after sending, retention is controlled by your device, messaging provider, carrier, and recipient. You can close or delete an unsent draft and clear browser session data at any time. Velvet Hour does not receive or keep inquiry form submissions through this website.
